Dr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin is a seasoned academic with over two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Throughout his career, he has held several full-time faculty positions at reputed universities and has served as a visiting faculty member at various institutions in Malaysia and Bangladesh. He is currently a Professor of Finance at the Department of Finance, International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC).
Dr. Nazim’s scholarly contributions are widely recognized. His research has been published in journals indexed by SSCI, Scopus, and Web of Science, and ranked in Q1, Q2, and Q3 tiers. His work is published by globally renowned academic publishers such as Emerald, Wiley, Sage, and Elsevier, among others. He has authored or co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and eight conference papers, which are regularly cited and referenced by scholars worldwide.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, Dr. Nazim has held various administrative positions, including Hall Provost, Director of Research, and Chair of Department. He is also actively involved in editorial and peer-review capacities for several prestigious international journals.
Beyond academia, Dr. Nazim is engaged with numerous philanthropic and not-for-profit organizations, reflecting his strong commitment to community service and social responsibility.Dr. Mohammad Nazim Uddin earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Chittagong, one of the leading public universities in Bangladesh. He also holds an MBA and an MPhil from the same institution.
